Free ASDAN Resources: Evidence Sheets
I have taught ASDAN new Horizons and Transition challenge to my KS3 and 4 pupils for many years. On this page are all the evidence sheets I made for ASDAN New Horizons and ASDAN Transition Challenge.

These ASDAN programmes provide certification and qualifications for learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). ASDAN courses have been developed for learners with a wide range of learning needs and abilities and provide meaningful outcomes through a person-centred approach that prepares learners for adult life. They are highly practical and I usually evidenced progress through photographs in a file.
New Horizons
New Horizons is an activity-based curriculum which supports the delivery of PSHE, Citizenship & Careers Education. Generally for learners in key stage 3. ASDAN modules and activities also offer an opportunity to develop communication/numeracy skills in a life skills setting.
The download pack below contains editable evidence sheets for use with the Key Stage 3 ASDAN scheme “New Horizons“. I used these as the evidence sheet that the students stuck on pictures of themselves completing the activities the box in the top right is for writing the module number so you can keep them in order if they change classes. This contains a colour coordinated (to match the books) evidence sheet for:

Transition Challenge Free workbook.
ASDAN make available is a sensory learner focused booklet for this but I have not taught it, so these resources apply to the Introduction and Progression modules: the activities in this programme cover the statutory programmes of study for the Key Stage 4 National Curriculum, along with activities to develop the skills required for adult living.
The free workbooks contain evidence sheets for sticking images in and at least one relevant worksheet for each section.
