These are the resources I have made to use with my class to support learning about Remembrance Day this November. All resources are Poppy themed with a UK focus. All the free resources use similar images and symbols . I hope they are of some use with your children. They have been designed for use with Autistic children and the images should be appropriate for all ages to access.
As usual all made using the excellent InPrint 3 from widgit software. You may like to check out our ideas around using the In Flanders Fields poem with a sensory approach.
This is a very simple little book in PDF format to explain in basic terms why we wear poppies on remembrance day. Keeping the memories alive of those who have given their lives in conflicts to theis day.
